INNOVATIVE TRIAD OF COLOURS

SECONDARY AND POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL, SCHWANENSTADT (AUSTRIA)
Outside passive-house quality, inside stimulating colours: the Secondary and Polytechnic School in Schwanendorf is pioneering in many respects. Inside, the implemented colour concept is fascinating with intense blue, green and orange shades modulated with pastel colours. The triad of colours is reminiscent of virtual reality which envelops those entering the school and which leaves them again when they go home.

The high luminosity is achieved by a silicone-resin interior paint which is also impressive due to its optimised physical properties. Tough too are the extremely scrub resistant and very hard wearing latex paints which were applied to the lower wall surfaces. Also the enamels for the doors and frames came from one source. All the colour schemes could therefore be optimally mixed in the same colour system.
