| Intensive colours to emphasise the individual building structures: this requirement from the customer was consistently implemented, both outside and inside, in the children's home in Pforzheim. So the colourfulness found outside is also reflected in the corridor areas. The strongly stimulating colours of the traffic areas are mirrored in a milder form in the group rooms. The red linoleum covering provides an activating platform and a warm room atmosphere, combined with contrasting warm and cool wall and accent surfaces. The liveliness of the colours is also reflected in the arrangement of the buildings which stand at various angles with respect to one another. Here there is no classical rigidity, but instead an environment has been created, providing in many ways an invitation to play. |
