For example, as a pioneering company Caparol introduced some years ago the quality grade "E.S.F" (emission-minimised and solvent-free) in the field of water-thinnable environmentally friendly building paints. During drying, these non-odiferous paints emit neither solvent, plasticizer nor any other harmful substance. And Caparol continues to set the benchmarks in this field.

"Caparol Sensitiv" is the first dispersion paint without preservatives ? and therefore also suitable for persons prone to allergies. Since September 2003 the premium interior paint Indeko-Plus bears as the first interior paint on the market the TÜV/WKI test seal "pollutant tested" and fulfils all stipulations with regard to health and environmental protection according to the current state of science and technology. In the meantime, apart from Indeko-Plus, a range of other Caparol interior paints have also been certified as "pollutant tested".
