The Caparol Group obtains one third of its turnover in foreign countries. Today it is represented in more than thirty countries.
Here too, the innovative force and customer proximity are the most important success factors. As a result, the company relies less on classical export, but rather prefers the systematic opening up of markets through its own companies or shareholdings. And so, first in Europe and then also in Asia, subsidiaries have been founded or local manufacturers have been completely or partially acquired.
The continual interchange of experience between our companies at home and abroad ensures on one hand the important and necessary input from all markets with their often very specific demands. On the other hand, the rapid transfer of expertise is ensured from the research and development centres within the group to the individual companies and their markets. This strengthens the company's innovative force which is successfully implemented on an international scale.
In our foreign companies the most important functions, in particular management, marketing and application technology, are almost exclusively occupied by local employees. It is only then that the required customer proximity can be achieved for successful marketing. Employees are kept abreast of the latest developments in Caparol technology and marketing through the continual interchange of experience, training sessions and regular information updates.
In the foreign companies within the group the role of the Caparol Group as the German market leader and pioneering company for environmentally friendly quality products that are harmless to health is accepted and exploited as an additional success factor. The internationally increasing awareness of environmental and health aspects reinforces the demand for solutions and products which Caparol can offer in these markets due to its many years of experience at a technically highly developed level.
With this in mind the Caparol Group will continue opening up foreign markets. |
