Pioneering technology in nano-enamels
The emphasis on research in the "Coatings" Division is placed on the development of innovative coating materials.

Through interdisciplinary development work and new types of processing techniques, technology involving the smallest particles is made ready for industrial production.

An excellent example is the new generation of organic-inorganic hybrid enamels for the coating of acrylic glass and other plastics, such as polycarbonate for mobile telephone displays. But flexible plastics and films can also be coated.

A further field of activity at CIS is the production of water-based enamels for the coating of wood materials and metal surfaces, which are applied using industrial spray techniques.
